PATA TEATRO is a theatre company based in Málaga which, since 1998, has been dedicated to the production and artistic and cultural management of the various projects it undertakes. Throughout its history, it has succeeded in channelling this work into serving both public and private institutions, with projects and initiatives spanning different artistic disciplines.

In their stage work, they have forged a distinctive style, where language and humour blend to tackle social issues that reflect the human condition.

This is the story of Cyrano, a man with a large nose, who secretly loves the beautiful Roxana. But this love is impossible, because she is in love with Cristián, a handsome young man who is, however, unable to put his feelings into words. This gives rise to a pact between the two, whereby Cyrano’s marvellous words and Cristián’s handsome face will merge into a single gentleman who must win Roxane’s heart.

Since its premiere in Paris in 1897, the success of *Cyrano de Bergerac* has continued to grow, establishing itself as one of the great classics of world theatre. The wit and nobility of its protagonist have made him one of the most memorable characters in literature.
