El Pueblo is a stage adaptation in the flamenco style inspired by Lope de Vega’s classic play *Fuente Ovejuna*.

Through dance, music and physical expression, this adaptation translates into the language of flamenco the struggle of a united people against the abuse of power.

The strength of women, popular tradition, the violence perpetrated by the commander and the collective rebellion are transformed into movement and emotion on stage.
