VIEWPOINT OF CERRO ALAMINOS ANDRÉS ROMERO GALIANO - UNIQUE CORNER
This viewpoint, located at an altitude of almost 500 metres, is a perfect place to look out over the horizon on all four sides. From this viewpoint you can easily see the coast of Fuengirola, the Sierra de Mijas and the Montes de Málaga.
It is surrounded by coniferous forests and in the south and west there is a proliferation of deep ravines and steep slopes. In addition, a giant bench has been installed since 27 September, which is an added attraction to the viewpoint. A spectacle not to be missed.
How to get there:
- We can reach the viewpoint from the Manantial El Nacimiento recreational area via the SL-A 59 path or from the recreational area in Los Llanos de Matagallar via the SL-A 59 or SL-A 60 paths.
- The route of stage 32 of the Gran Senda de Málaga practically coincides with the SL-A 59, continuing northwards a few metres before reaching the viewpoint.
- From the MA-3303 road in the direction of Mijas, once you have passed the Los Nebrales housing estate and km 3, take the first lane on the right, the "La Fuente" forest track. From the beginning of the forest track we can continue with our vehicle for approximately one and a half kilometres more, where we will find a crossroads where we can park the vehicle. From this point to the viewpoint there are 1.7 kilometres.
Bear in mind that this forest track is closed to vehicles between June and October as a fire protection measure, so we must park our vehicle next to the MA-3303 road and continue walking.
